Naturepedic thought of everything when they were making this 100% organic bassinet mattress. This mattress has no foam or latex rubber so there’s no need to worry about the toxic properties of foam or the allergic reactions that come from latex rubber. Naturepedic has constructed this mattress from something they call “Air-Core” which are tiny little sealed air bubbles. “Air-Core” provides both a firm and comfortable base for your baby to sleep on which is exactly what you want. It also has an organic 100% waterproof cotton covering made of 100% food-grade polyethylene so messes are quick and easy to clean up.
Some people might think that it’s on the expensive side, they’d be right. It’s not cheap. But it goes by the old saying, “you get what you paid for”. If you want an organic mattress that will help you newborn child sleep through the night, this is the mattress you want. If not, you’ll be wishing you bought this the first night your baby wakes up crying because they can’t get comfortable with a standard foam mattress.
